Of-Counsel Attorney
Amy is one of our of-counsel attorneys working in the probate litigation department. She came to us with many years of experience and a systematized process for dealing with legal matters.
She has been in the legal field for over 40 years – initially as a paralegal, then as an attorney. Her entire life, she was destined to become an estate planning attorney.
Having lost her brother unexpectedly when she was 18 years old/when he was 29, she learned that you are never too young to have an estate plan in place. As a paralegal, she spent years working on the estate administration side of the industry, handling probate and trust administration, which taught her how important it is to have a well-written and well-thought-out estate plan.
In law school, which she attended after raising her three, now-grown children, she received four CALI awards, one of which is in the area of trusts and estates. The CALI awards are given to the highest scoring student in each law school course. It seemed she was predetermined to practice in this area because she is truly passionate about helping people prepare their families for the future, especially when it comes to planning their legacy and preventing loved ones from experiencing unwanted surprises.
