Professional Legal Administrator
I was born in Wisconsin and grew-up thinking that Arizona was a barren desert with open spaces and rural housing. We didn’t have the internet and could only see what was in front of us. My parents had other ideas and moved the family to Scottsdale Arizona in 1985.
I started ASU in 1986 and quickly became passionate about sociology and psychology. Between my first and second year in college I broke my neck in a roll-over automobile accident. I was lucky to survive so spending a few years in therapy was a small price to pay if it meant I had a future. I was proud to still graduate 4 ½ years later.
Having worked through college to pay for my own education, I was already off and running with a career in administration. I was an office manager for a real estate office and transitioned into the CD-ROM industry in the early 90’s when it was a booming new technology. It was during this time that I developed a passion for helping firms grow and prosper. It was also during this time that I met my husband Tommy. He was playing guitar in the band that we used to go see every weekend and I quickly became his favorite fan. We have been married since 1994 and started our family in 1998 with the birth of our son, Eric. In 2001 our beautiful daughter Alyssa joined the family.
I have had the privilege of being the Firm Administrator for three law firms over the last 18 years. Working within estate planning in the legal industry has been a rewarding experience within my professional career. Helping and supporting a team that is helping families navigate the legal nuances of leaving a family legacy has been a tremendous joy. It is exciting to help facilitate growth so we can help more families find the peace and comfort that comes with planning.
