Attorney CLE: 7 Parts of Your Law Firm On October 29
October 29 @ 3:00 am - 4:00 amFree
It’s been a long time since I’ve offered CLE, so I’m making up for it with an entire series on law firm management.
20+ hours of CLE is coming your way. All online. And all of it will be recorded so you can consume on your own time.
In 2015, I was ready to close my practice after 7 years of making less than minimum wage, have less time with my wife and kids, and feeling darkness close in all around me.
Ever felt like you wanted to give up, too?
Since 2015, I’ve been on a quest to learn and apply the REAL lessons that make any business work, including law firms. Things like financial controls, capacity calculators, marketing ROI, staff profitability, and other things we never learned in law school.
7 of these CLEs will be offered LIVE & ONLINE; the rest will be recorded. The live webinars and the recorded ones will be posted online in our Attorney Forum, that you can join free right here.
- Topics: All topics will be focused on the business of law. Making your practice run better, be more profitable, free your time, etc. All will therefore qualify for ETHICS credit.
- Length: Each topic will be 1 hour
- Cost: No charge.
- Dates: Thursday, starting October 14, 2021 at Noon
Live webinar dates:
- Oct. 14 – Law Firm Marketing
- Oct. 28 – Converting Potential Clients & Increasing Your Value
- Nov. 4 – Pandemic Hiring & Managing Your Staff
- Nov. 11 – Law Firm Technology for Non-virtual Firms
- Nov. 18 – Systematizing Your Practice
- Dec. 2 – The Money & Profit Dashboard
- Dec. 9 – Creating a Business Plan in 30 Minutes
Each topic above will be covered in about an hour, live on Zoom. Because I’ve lived each and every one of these topics, I know there is about 20 hours of ADDITIONAL information I could teach on each of those topics.
Instead of trying to do that, or trying to squeeze it all into 1 hour, I’m going to teach one or two additional hours of content for each of those topics and post the recording to our Attorney Forum. That is how you can get 20 hours of CLE credit this Fall.
7 hours live. 13 hours recorded. 20 hours total.
The recordings will be posted in our Attorney Forum each week, so look out for those email announcements.
Register for any or all dates. The Zoom information is the same for all live webinars.
Why am I doing this?
First, I want you to succeed.
Because the more of us lawyers that GET BETTER at running law firms, the better our whole industry will get. And that helps us all. A rising tide floats all boats, and all.
Second, selfishly, if your practice grows, hopefully you will see it was partially because of the goodwill I extended to you through these CLEs and you will refer prospects to my law firm when you feel it is appropriate. You grow, I grow.
Third, I get CLE credit for teaching. Duh. Teaching CLEs is one of the most efficient uses of my time. I get CLE credit. I get better at public speaking at the same time. I learn the content better myself when I have to teach it. Etc. Etc. Etc.
Fourth, teaching these CLEs will help me grow my firm and serve more clients , which will in turn help me give more to my family, to my employees, and to my future clients.
How will it do that?
Because I am partnering with my business coach, How To Manage a Small Law Firm, as my co-presenter on these CLEs (without any sales pitches from them, because that’s not the point here). If you decide you want help from a business coach and think they might be a good fit, they hope you will consider their services. And if not, it doesn’t matter to me; I get my brownie points for doing what I was going to do anyway. 🙂
What are my brownie points? A full-day, VIP business strategy session with their TOP of the TOP executives to help me build a plan for the next 3-5 years of law firm growth. These are executives they don’t offer as advisors in their services to us; these are the executives of their business that have run multi-hundred-million-dollar businesses before and they are going to help me build an even better law firm.
If there’s one thing us lawyers know, it’s that people need advice from experts. These experts have done what I have not: grown a business much larger than Keystone Law Firm. With their advice, I hope to be able to make an even bigger difference in our industry, which will also have the side benefit of making my business more profitable, giving me back some more of my time to pursue what I love, giving my employees a better work-environment, and giving our clients a better experience at a better price.
All by doing what I was going to do anyway: offer you these CLEs.
I hope you join us. Let’s make our industry better together!!!
