Attorney
John is an entrepreneurial business advisor at heart. He started his first business at 11 years old and before law school created, built, and successfully sold two of them.
John was intricately involved in building the Nation’s first contiguous VoIP long distance network.
His involvement led to ION Communications saving $12.5 million in infrastructure cost by negotiating exclusive agreements with existing videoconferencing networks for their unused bandwidth.
John helped create a business culture that saved $200,000 in annual turnover of call center employees, with a turnover rate 18% below industry averages. John has managed business growth from $0 to $5MM in revenue in less than one year, and growth form 8 employees to over 200 in less than 6 months. To say the least, fast-growing environments operate better when he is involved.
John holds a B.S. in finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business, an MBA from San Diego State University and a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. John’s practice is focused on acting as fractional general counsel for companies that aren’t yet ready to put a full time in-house attorney on their payroll. John limits the companies he works with so that each of them get a dedicated advisor who knows how their business operates long term.
John also provides estate planning services to his private individual clients. Having experienced the loss of his parents and siblings at a young age which required he be adopted into a new family, John personally understands the fear and anxiety that exists when estate planning is needed most.
